Delete Your Cookies?

Have you noticed that when you click on a news story, or an ad, that sometimes you have the option of rejecting all cookies? This is a nice feature. The “cookie makers” gather information on you and sell it to who knows who? All you did was read a story, or simply buy an item on-line, and suddenly your email is filled with unwanted newsletters, emails and spam, unless you clicked REJECT ALL COOKIES. 

I suppose you can periodically delete all your internet activities, history and cookies, but how many of you take the time to do that? Let alone, do you know how to do it? 

Have you ever thought of how your life might be if you didn’t have demonic “cookies” planted in your soul? By that I mean the deception, lies and inaccurate information we gain in life by experience that controls us, keeps us in bondage and robs us of confidence before God. There might be a “demonic cookie” in your soul that keeps sending you the wrong information or sends your data to the ‘dark web’  for Satan’s devilish purposes. 

“We are living in an age of lies.” I don’t remember who said that, but it is the truth. You must carefully search for the TRUTH when you read the news, listen to podcasts and/or find a book you’d like to read. 

What if your heart only knew the TRUTH? When something you hear, learn or discover in the news, on the internet, or social media does not have the ring of Truth to it, you could hit the REJECT ALL COOKIES button and stay free. Wouldn’t that be a great tool to have?

“If you believe a lie, you empower the Liar.” 

I believe Pastor Bill Johnson gets credit for that statement. 

“Satan is the Father of Lies,” Jesus spoke those words. (Jn 8:44.) 

Jesus also said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to Father God but by (or through) Him. Jesus spoke those words in John 14:6. If you are a believer in Jesus as Lord and Savior, then you have access to His Spirit living inside you, the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Life, Spirit of Christ, Spirit of the Lord. I could go on and on.

That’s our mission. He’s the Savior. He’s the Deliverer. He’s the one who gives His holiness to all who call on His name and trust Him for salvation. He’s also our Healer and the one who helps, comforts and imparts His love to us always, all the time, everyday. 

Have you met Him? I’m speaking of the One who can delete all the demonic cookies you might have stored in your soul and replace them with His TRUTH.
